Goshen County Roping Club

Time to ride and rope at the Goshen County Fair Grounds indoor arena.  Starting the first week in November and wrapping up around the first week of April, ropers of all ages and all skill levels can gather twice a week to rope and ride in the facility.  The club came together in 1998 to provide winter practice and cowboy comradery on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for a couple of hours from 7:00pm to 9:00pm .  GCRC is member supported with annual membership dues.  A single membership is $600 and the family membership is $700.  The dues are used for arena rental, cattle, feed and related roping expenses. At the end of the season members compete for buckles, saddles other prizes during the finale roping.  Friends and families get together just have a good time.  The club doesn’t keep times during practice or points throughout the year.  It is a great opportunity to get in out of the weather to work on personal skills, or season horses.    Give  Jeff Mueller at (307)630-6386 or Blair Newman (307)532-1592 a call for more information or to become a member.
